Could I have said a “no” – maybe, but then that would have broken her heart. So, I gave in and in a matter of minutes, as expected, her face lit up …lifting my spirits too! Working parents play dual roles and considering many of us work in a hybrid environment, there are moments that overlap… I wish to reaffirm that it’s okay to listen to your heart. Everybody around us (clients, colleagues, stakeholders including the boss) understands – we are, after all, humans with real emotions and sentiments.
