“#Staywell” vs “#Farewell” !!

Fact: You would have attended a colleague’s “farewell” or even arranged one at some point in time in your own career.

Question: Have you ever been part of a “staywell” party/celebration/conversation?

Hand on Heart – What do we celebrate more often?

Colleagues, who STAY put OR colleagues who move on…for varied reasons perhaps some right ones too… (clearly, topic for another day).

I strongly feel that its essential to also celebrate colleagues who continue to work alongside us, help us meet critical deliverables day after day, look out for one another during crisis, partner to achieve mammoth team targets, rejoice in team’s success, reach major organisational/career milestones and in the process create beautiful memories at workplace.

Celebrating colleagues who continue to stay on motivates team members, enhances credibility amongst stakeholders and often helps retain key talent. In fact, it is one of the many factors that determine Organisational Culture.

“Staywell” colleagues equally deserve (if not more) many more such celebratory magic moments.
